Wow what's this? A new journal? I can't believe it!
Yo everybody I need your help. It's not gonna take more than 30 seconds.
Here's the resume of the history: someone recolored one of my friends work without her authorization and dA didn't take it down yet. So could you please click on "report deviation"?
The pic is this one:
[link]First you click on "Report Deviation" [it's on the button of the page] and then "Permission Issues". mark both "This Uses Work Which Might Be Copyrighted." and I Don't Think They Have Permission To Post". and then you tell them that's the artists post a journal and comments on her drawing saying she was not giving this person the authorization to edit her work. And finally you give them the link for the original work:

[link] be as clear as possible. They are kinda busy and they probably can't read everything.
Oh yeah and one last thing. Don't, I say DON'T comment on this person's [not using "artist" here] gallery. Don't even check the main page. Don't give this person free page views. Just report the stolen work.

Additional information: this person first posted this recolor with talking nothing about Dey. Then Dey said she tried to talk with the thief, asking her/him/them to remove the cheap recolor, but instead of that she/he/they just added Dey's name on the desc, removed all the comments and BLOCKED her. Looks like this person wanted to make that it looks like she/he/they got the authorization. Sounds pretty much like a criminal hiding the proofs, sin't it?

anyway I really don't get why this person does that.
I mean the way she/he trace over the pics and say she/he did it. because there are a gazillion of drawings over here. she/he can just ask like 100 people if they let her/him trace their drawing and recolor it. maybe 99 will say no. but if one say yes, she/he'll be free to edit it legally. everything she/he have to to is be polite and ask first. but for some people nowadays, being polite, say 'please' and 'thanks' seems to be really hard.
